By booking a tour through salarexpeditions.com, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Please read them carefully before confirming your reservation.
All bookings can be made directly through our website’s reservation form or by contacting us via email or WhatsApp.
To confirm your reservation, a deposit or full payment may be required, depending on the tour.
Payments can be made by bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cryptocurrency (when available).
Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with all tour details.
We understand that travel plans can change. Our policy is as follows:
Cancellations made 7 days or more before the tour date: eligible for a full refund (minus transaction fees).
Cancellations made 3–6 days before the tour date: 50% refund.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the tour date or no-shows: non-refundable.
If Salar Expeditions must cancel a tour due to weather, safety, or operational reasons, you may choose a rescheduled date or a full refund.
We’ll do our best to accommodate changes to your booking (dates, participants, itinerary) but they’re subject to availability.
Any changes requested less than 48 hours before departure may not be possible.
Tour itineraries may change due to weather, road conditions, or safety reasons.
Salar Expeditions reserves the right to adjust routes or schedules if necessary for the comfort and safety of passengers.
Participants are responsible for following the guide’s instructions during the tour.
We strongly recommend that all travelers carry personal travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellations, and personal belongings.
Salar Expeditions is not responsible for costs arising from accidents, delays, or loss of personal property.
By booking a tour, you confirm that you are physically fit to participate in the activities described.
Please inform us in advance of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions so we can make arrangements when possible.
While we take all necessary precautions for a safe and enjoyable trip, Salar Expeditions is not liable for:
Injuries, illness, loss, or damage that may occur during the tour.
Acts of nature, government actions, or other events beyond our control.
By participating, you acknowledge that travel in remote areas involves certain risks and agree to assume responsibility for your own safety.
We may take photos or videos during tours for promotional purposes.
If you prefer not to appear in any media, please let your guide know before the tour begins.
We respect your privacy and protect your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Your personal information is used only for communication and booking purposes.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Bolivia, and any disputes will be handled in the courts of Uyuni, Potosí Department.
