This Booking Policy explains how reservations, payments, and cancellations work when you book a tour through salarexpeditions.com or directly with our team.


1. How to Book

You can book your tour through our online reservation form, email, or WhatsApp.
Once we receive your request, our team will confirm availability and send you the booking details.

To secure your spot, a deposit or full payment may be required, depending on the type of tour and group size.
Your booking is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from Salar Expeditions.


2. Payment Methods

We offer flexible payment options for your convenience:

  • Bank transfer (Bolivia or international)

  • Credit or debit card

  • Cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, USDT, or other major coins — when available)

All prices are listed in US dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.


3. Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that plans can change. Here’s how our cancellation and refund policy works:

  • 7 or more days before tour date: Full refund (minus transaction fees).

  • 3–6 days before tour date: 50% refund.

  • Less than 48 hours or no-shows: Non-refundable.

  • If we must cancel a tour due to weather, road closures, or operational reasons, you can choose to reschedule or receive a full refund.

Refunds are processed using the same payment method used for the booking. Please allow up to 7 business days for processing.


4. Changes to Your Booking

We’ll always do our best to accommodate changes in travel dates, group size, or itinerary, subject to availability.
Changes requested less than 48 hours before departure may not be possible.


5. Traveler Responsibilities

By booking a tour, you agree to:

  • Follow all safety instructions from your guide.

  • Arrive on time at the meeting point.

  • Inform us of any health conditions, allergies, or dietary needs before the tour.

  • Carry valid travel insurance covering health and cancellations.

Salar Expeditions reserves the right to refuse participation to any traveler who poses a safety risk to themselves or others.


6. Tour Adjustments

Itineraries may change due to weather, road conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases, our guides may adjust the route or schedule to ensure passenger comfort and safety.


7. Photography and Media

We occasionally take photos and videos during tours for marketing purposes.
If you prefer not to appear in any media, please let your guide know before departure.
