Day by Day itinerary

We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Uyuni before 10:30 AM, and the adventure begins!

Highlights:

  • Start at the fascinating Train Cemetery
  • Visit Colchani village to see traditional salt extraction and beautiful salt handicrafts
  • Quick stop at the first hotel ever built from salt blocks
  • Explore Fish Island (Incahuasi) – a magical piece of land in the middle of the salt desert, home to giant cacti that are hundreds of years old. From the top, you’ll witness the breathtaking vastness of the salt flats
  • Enjoy lunch right in the middle of the salt plains (weather permitting)
  • End the day with the most spectacular sunset you’ve ever seen!
  • Overnight at our cozy salt hostel near the salt flats
  • After breakfast, we head to explore the area around Ollague Volcano.

    Today’s adventures:

    • Visit stunning colored lagoons surrounded by graceful flamingos
    • Lunch break to refuel
    • Journey through the Siloli Desert to discover the famous Laguna Colorada (Red Lagoon) and the iconic Stone Tree
    • Overnight at a community refuge near the national park
  • Early start at 5:00 AM (we promise it’s worth it!)

    Morning magic:

    • Watch the geysers at their most spectacular – volcanic pressure is highest at sunrise!
    • Relax in the warm thermal waters of Polques Lagoon
    • Visit the stunning Green Lagoon and White Lagoon
    • Return to Uyuni or transfer to San Pedro de Atacama

Yes, we do but the price can vary significantly. Many of our tourists reported that this is mainly a scenic excursion and they were ok without a guide who spoke the same language, but if you need us to arrange the tour in English, we got you covered. Click on this link to reserve your spot. 

Yes, a reconfirmation from your end is needed. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of your reservation. You must inform us of your accommodation name and room number the day before your trip. 

Travel insurance is NOT included in our services. We recommend that passengers have their own travel insurance against illness, injury, loss/damage to personal belongings, and inability to travel on the confirmed departure date.
